Job Description At Janssen Oncology, we are raising the bar on customer experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Our account management teams support the certified sites who care for cancer patients and are deeply committed to providing them with an exceptional customer experience, so they, in turn, are better positioned to treat the individuals in their care. The CAR-T Cell Therapy Experience Lead is a member of this account management team, reporting to the Senior Manager, CAR-T Cell Therapy Experience Lead. The role serves as the primary field-based point of contact for a portfolio of certified CARVYKTI® Treatment Centers. Day in the Life For many treatment facilities, CAR-T is a relatively new type of cancer therapy. Your primary responsibility is to serve as the main point of contact for treatment centers during the certification process, identify gaps that could limit capabilities, and maintain a high level of engagement with internal and external customers throughout the certification process. You guide certified sites through onboarding, provide process/system training, and serve as their expert resource. Once a site is onboarded, you help advance their success with CARVYKTI® therapy by supporting day-to-day logistics and issue resolution related to order fulfillment and advising on opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency. Responsibilities Successful site management: bring future treatment centers online and to steady-state status; serve as a lateral leader with multiple teams for operational account management, addressing site-specific issues and pursuing improvement opportunities for CARVYKTI® order management/logistics. Expert guidance: serve as the assigned sites’ subject‑matter expert for CAR-T operations and logistics, providing counsel on technology utilization and process optimization. Lead issue-resolution process: act as the central point of contact for issue resolution and customer concern activities with certified treatment centers and cross-functional teams. Cross-functional collaboration: apply a patient‑centric approach, aligning cross-functional partners through regular participation in matrix calls with alliance partner stakeholders to bring the best possible outcomes for patients and customers. Site education: facilitate education engagements aimed at ongoing improvement of CAR-T operations/logistics and CARVYKTI® order management systems. Data analysis and insight gathering: through onsite observations and system-generated data review, advise the treatment facility on opportunities to improve utilization of and efficiency around CARVYKTI® therapy. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of five years of work experience in the healthcare industry. 5+ years demonstrated success in field sales / sales leadership. Field-based large account management (KAM/KAS) experience. Program administration, including oncology, bone marrow transplant, CAR-T, infusion site or cell & gene therapy treatment center/site of care certification and activation. RN license or advanced practice degree (NP/PA/PharmD/MSN). Communication. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to lead conflict resolution and defuse difficult situations. Relationship building. Proven history forging strong, productive relationships with a diverse array of customers and colleagues. Project and process management. Skilled in overseeing, monitoring, and managing complex projects and operational procedures. Collaboration. Effectively works in a team environment, coordinating activities and building partnerships across multiple internal/external organizations. Resourcefulness. Uses personal knowledge and available resources to resolve problems for customers, demonstrating urgency and calm judgment in demanding situations. Accountability. Demonstrates excellent case-management skills, taking ownership and proactively resolving customer inquiries. Flexibility. Dynamically adjusts priorities due to changing circumstances; an agile learner comfortable operating in complex environments. Travel This position covers several states west of the Mississippi with significant travel up to 50% domestic travel, including approximately half overnight time. Candidates should live within 1.5 hours of a major metro airport and may reside in Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones. Compensation The potential base pay range for this role is $157,000 - $177,000 annually. Incentive plans, bonuses, and other compensation may be offered in addition to health and welfare benefits.
