Sterile Processing Technician

We are seeking candidates who are experienced in all areas of the sterile processing department. This includes the decontamination of all items, including drills, scopes, and surgical instruments. Candidates should have experience with the assembly of instruments in all service lines, including trauma and loaners. Experience in sterilization processes, both Sterrad and steam, is required. Candidates should have expertise in high-level disinfection and scope processing. The role requires experience in sterile storage and liaison functions within the operating room setting. Candidates should possess familiarity with the Censitrac tracking system and experience with Medivators. The position involves ensuring that all sterilized instruments and supplies are aseptically packaged and delivered to points of use. Candidates will serve as a clinical liaison to track and allocate sterilized instruments across designated facilities. This role requires ample availability for scheduled rotating weekends and occasional holidays. Travelers must have relevant experience in a similar busy facility. Candidates must be responsive and cooperative during the credentialing process. Professional references are required, including one from a managerial or supervisory position. Travelers who have previously worked in the system or those living within a specific radius may not be eligible. Prior permanent staff must have been away for a minimum period before being eligible for travel assignments.
