About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Tax to be a key member of the senior finance leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the global tax strategy in alignment with business objectives. This includes providing strategic direction on tax implications for various business initiatives, ensuring compliance with the highest standards, and leading a global team. The role also involves overseeing income tax accounting, reporting, and forecasting, as well as managing indirect taxes and global statutory filings. The VP, Tax will be a trusted advisor to executive leadership, particularly in the areas of M&A, supply chain evolution, and portfolio innovation. Candidates for the Vice President, Tax position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA strongly preferred. A minimum of 12-15 years' of progressive tax experience is required, with a background that includes both Big 4/public accounting and senior in-house tax leadership within a large, multinational organization. Deep expertise in ASC 740 income tax accounting, U.S. federal, state, and Canadian tax, and international transfer pricing regulations is essential. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in managing complex tax matters, driving process improvement, and technology modernization. Strong executive presence, communication skills, and a collaborative leadership style are also key attributes for the role.
