Enterprise Field Service Manager

As a Field Service Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations in the Field Service Department in your assigned area. You will manage a team of technicians and installers, interact with multiple customer organizations, product vendors and manufactures, and senior management of the company.

Responsibilities include managing projects and service assignments, acting as a liaison between BearCom technicians and Motorola or end customers, preparing quotes, bids, and schedules for installation and repair tasks, providing technical support in field operations, installing, maintaining, and providing technical support and service of wireless communications equipment, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and resolving wireless communication equipment problems, delivering and executing customer Functional Acceptance Test Plans, making minor modifications to electronic circuitry, handling training and coaching of field service technicians and installers, adhering to safety standards, and helping with other projects as assigned.

Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of leadership experience in technical management in the wireless industry, experience in developing, qualifying, and directing new business opportunities, knowledge of vendor resources, experience managing complex project implementations, understanding of business practices P&L responsibility, excellent customer relationship skills, extensive knowledge of 2-way radio theory, RF propagation characteristics, technical leadership experience associated with wireless solutions and multiple 2-way radio technologies, appropriate degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience, proficiency with MS Office Suite, security clearance, valid driver's license and proof of insurance, and background checks.
