About this Position The Accountant I is an entry-level accounting professional responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This role assists with maintaining accurate financial records, performing basic accounting functions, and supporting month-end close activities under the guidance of senior accounting staff. 3 days on site Assist with daily accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and data entry Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for balance sheet and income statement accounts Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, as needed Review transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies Maintain organized accounting records and documentation Assist with internal and external audit requests Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships acceptable) Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting systems a plus Internship or prior experience in a corporate accounting environment WorkDay, OfficeConnect, Blackline) Progress toward CPA or other accounting certification Office-based or hybrid work environment (as applicable) Standard business hours with occasional overtime during close periods 3 days on site This position is exempt (not eligible for overtime pay): Day one health, dental, and vision insurance Vacation, sick, holiday and volunteer time off Life and disability insurance Flexible Spending Account & Health Savings Account Tuition reimbursement It has been and will continue to be the policy of Primerica, Inc., We provide equal opportunity to all qualified individuals regardless of race, sex, color, religious creed, religion, national origin, citizenship status, age, disability, pregnancy, ancestry, military service or veteran status, genetic or carrier status, marital status, sexual orientation, or any classification protected by applicable federal, state or local laws.
