Shift lead

Description : We are seeking a proactive Shift lead to manage daily operations during designated shifts at our establishment. This role is crucial for leading staff, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities :

• Operational Management: Oversee smooth operation during shifts, coordinating front and back of house seamlessly.
• Staff Supervision: Direct staff activities, manage performance, and handle staffing levels to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Customer Service: Address customer service issues promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining quality service standards.
• Compliance and Safety: Enforce adherence to sanitation and safety regulations, conducting regular checks for compliance.
• Financial Oversight: Manage cash operations and prepare reports on shift activities, highlighting any discrepancies.
• Provide legendary guest service.

• Financial Oversight: Manage cash operations and prepare reports on shift activities, highlighting any discrepancies.
• Produce coffee drinks and cocktails to O&F specifications.
• Take orders customers for food and beverages.
• Deliver all food and beverages in a timely fashion.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of the restaurant.
• Greet guests and guide them through ordering process.
• Provide guests with menus.
• Inform guests of current promotions
• Operate cash registers to accept payments for food and beverages.
• Answer the phone.
• Take to-go orders.
• Keep the order counter stand neat, tidy, and presentable for guests.
• Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths
• Set tables with condiments and other supplies.
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
• Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties.
• Responding to and resolving customer concerns or complaints
• Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service.

Qualifications:

• Ability to memorize all the ingredients in both the menu as well as daily/weekly specials.
• MUST have open availability and work weekends.
• General knowledge of wine, cocktails, and beer
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs.
• Must have a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Friendly and customer-focused personality
• Ability to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance.
• Ability to clearly communicate guests' needs
• Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.

Compensation: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
