Senior Tax Accountant Responsibilities: Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1120, and 1065. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and tax planning discussions. Manage tax deadlines and client expectations throughout the year. Review bookkeeping and financial records to ensure accuracy prior to tax preparation. Mentor and support junior staff members while contributing to a positive team culture. Assist clients with tax planning strategies and advisory services designed to support their financial goals. Senior Tax Accountant Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification strongly preferred. 2+ years of recent public accounting or corporate tax experience. Experience preparing and reviewing business and individual tax returns. Proficiency with CCH, Workstream, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and client-service mindset.
