Journeyman Electrician

Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and occasional industrial settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate testing devices Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations Ability to mentor an apprentice and work in pairs or groups Maintain a clean and safe job site Coordinate with team members, general contractors, and clients as needed Complete daily documentation and communicate progress to supervisors Qualifications Valid State of Iowa Journeyman Electrician License (License A or B) 3+ years of hands‑on electrical experience preferred Strong working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes OSHA 10-Hour Certification required #J-18808-Ljbffr
