? NOW HIRING: Weld Fitter ?

? Pay: Competitive (based on experience)
? Location: Aurora, OH
? Schedule: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday-Friday), 2nd Shift: 2:00PM - 12:30AM (Monday-Thursday)
? Type: Contract-to-Hire

? What You'll Do:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
Measure, cut, and shape metal materials (steel, aluminum, stainless)
Fit and align parts using clamps, fixtures, and hand tools
Ensure proper fit-up before welding (alignment, spacing, angles)
Inspect materials and assemblies for accuracy and quality
Work closely with welders to meet specifications
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

? Requirements:

Experience in manufacturing, construction, or fabrication environments
Strong blueprint reading skills
Knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core)
Experience with structural steel, pipe, or plate fabrication
Proficient with measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, squares)
Strong attention to detail and math skills
Ability to lift materials and work in an industrial setting

? Education:

High school diploma or GED required
Trade school or apprenticeship preferred
Welding certifications (AWS or similar) a plus

? Dress Code: Steel toe boots, jeans, t-shirt
