Junior Accountant

Job Details Job Title: Junior Accountant Location: Chatsworth, California Job Type: Permanent Salary: $60,000-$80,000/year – US Work Model: In Office – Monday to Friday (Half Day Saturday) Position Description Assist with month‑end and year‑end close activities Prepare and post journal entries and accruals Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations Generate daily, weekly, and monthly financial and management reports Prepare and review general ledger entries while maintaining accurate financial records Analyze financial data to respond to accounting and reporting inquiries Support online banking activities and reporting Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information across all accounting functions Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of full‑cycle accounting, including: Accounts Payable (A/P) Accounts Receivable (A/R) General Ledger (GL) Journal entries and reconciliations Experience with month‑end close processes Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Strong communication and reporting skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) What Client Offer Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off (PTO) 401(k) retirement savings plan Profit sharing plan Supportive and collaborative work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Mier Human Capital
