SHEET METAL INSTALLER – RESIDENTIAL NEW CONSTRUCTION Location: Edgewood, MD Sobieski New Homes of Edgewood, MD is hiring a full‑time Residential New Construction Sheet Metal Installer. The primary responsibility is installing HVAC duct systems and related components in new residential homes. The installer works closely with foremen, superintendents, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards. The role includes reading plans, working at various stages of single‑family and townhomes, and training sheet‑metal helpers and apprentices. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Qualifications Licensed as a journeyman (preferred) or 3+ years of new‑home construction experience Knowledge of applicable state codes Hands‑on experience with residential HVAC construction Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work outdoors in various weather conditions, from heights, and in tight spaces Own hand tools regularly used by sheet‑metal installers #J-18808-Ljbffr Sobieski Mechanical & Fire Protection
