The Company is in search of an Assistant General Counsel with a focus on employment law to join its dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be a key advisor on a wide range of employment matters, with a particular emphasis on global benefits, including wellness and ERISA compliance. This role is ideal for a seasoned employment law generalist who is ready to take on a strategic partnership role, working closely with senior executives and business leaders. Responsibilities include providing legal guidance on the full employment lifecycle, from recruitment to separation, and serving as a strategic legal partner for centralized subject matters such as global benefits, leaves of absence, and immigration policies. The role also involves representing the company in employment claims and leading special projects, including M&A and workforce restructuring. Applicants for this position at the company should have extensive experience in advising on complex global workforce issues, with a strong background in employee benefits, M&A, and workforce restructuring. In-house experience, particularly at a multi-national technology company, is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a strong employment litigation background, be comfortable with generative AI tools, and have a preference for international experience. The role requires a strategic advisor with the ability to influence outcomes, excellent judgment, and a clear, concise communication style. A JD and active bar membership are required, with a preference for California. The candidate should also demonstrate a strong ethical code, integrity, and a deep respect for privacy and confidentiality.
