Behavioral Health Specialist (Internal title: Clinical Care Coordinator)

Relocation Assistance Catholic Community Services, Family Behavioral Health is offering relocation assistance for the successful candidate. What We Offer Starting Pay Range: $33.06 - $36.78 per hour Collaborative Supervision Coverage after hours: $1,800.00 per year Pay based on performance: up to $8,000.00 per year Bi‑lingual fluency stipend: $100 - 200 per pay period (twice per month) for Spanish, English or other languages, with tiered language stipend based on proficiency and family needs Training and Supervision Extensive training in multiple clinical approaches and related areas Daily and weekly supervision and support with a Clinical Supervisor Benefits 12 paid holidays plus one personal holiday per year 3 weeks vacation per year 12 sick days per year Medical, dental, vision insurance Life insurance (1× annual salary) Retirement plans: 403‑B Employee Savings Plan and an Employer Contribution Pension Responsibilities Meet and engage families with compassion, support, respect, and enthusiasm Provide or arrange crisis response and stabilization services, completing and communicating safety plans Prepare families for next steps in intervention (team development, planning, natural supports) Customize approaches to fit each family’s uniqueness, culture, and interests Provide intensive, strength‑based therapeutic services to children, youth, and families in the community and homes Assess safety and stabilization needs; develop treatment plans and crisis plans; facilitate child and family team meetings Evaluate treatment strategies, goals, and outcomes on‑goingly Brainstorm and negotiate strength‑building strategies Consult with supervisors and specialists and incorporate recommendations Maintain productivity and documentation standards with collaborative problem‑solving and accurate, strength‑based documentation Respond to crises promptly, effectively, and collaboratively Facilitate or provide a range of therapeutic responses that support the overall plan (individual and family therapies) Utilize parent/family expertise in problem solving for specific needs Modify intervention techniques as needed without changing the overall direction of the plan Facilitate placement into foster care, ensuring required paperwork and notifications are completed Assist others, including teams, in implementing the plan from the beginning Reevaluate, modify, and redesign plans based on new information Inspire confidence in children, families, and team members for successful transitions Arrange ongoing formal and informal services and supports Create and practice aftercare plans following CCS involvement Participate in an on‑call rotation with other clinicians and coordinators Work flexibly in family homes and community settings with the required scheduling flexibility Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, behavioral sciences, or equivalent accredited program Experience serving children and/or families in mental health, social services, or education Culturally competent attitudes, knowledge, and skills for multi‑cultural situations Energetic, innovative style that engages children, youth, and family members in services Enthusiastic, optimistic approach encouraging participation of all involved Strength‑based approach appreciating unique qualities and assets of everyone Passion for helping families stay together Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to visually assess safety within family homes Ability to meet clients in homes and community locations Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance with an acceptable driving record per CCS policy Flexible schedule preference over a fixed 8‑5, Monday‑through‑Friday, facility‑based position Participation in on‑call rotation responsibilities Successful completion of required background clearance Support and uphold the mission, beliefs, and values of Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
