Contribute to strategic projects and executive-level analyses.Job DescriptionSenior Corporate Accountant OverviewThe Senior Corporate Accountant will play a pivotal role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and Finance team to execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.Contribute to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives.Engage in accounting-related technology projects, including system upgrades and implementations.Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that values collaboration and excellence.Provide detailed analysis and documentation to support financial transactions and reporting.Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls while managing audit requests.Opportunity to work on special projects and executive-level requests.Senior Corporate Accountant Key Responsibilities & DutiesPrepare and post journal entries across general ledger accounts with accuracy and completeness.Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.Execute components of financial close processes, including financial statement preparation.Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis activities.Maintain accounting records and resolve system-related issues within ERP platforms.Identify opportunities to automate and enhance accounting processes and controls.Conduct research on financial inquiries and provide supporting analysis.Support internal and external audit requests with detailed documentation.Senior Corporate Accountant Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.4-7 years of experience in general ledger or corporate accounting preferred.Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and proactive problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within teams.
