Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Shepherdsville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by location policies, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activity reports.
• Support the orderly movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries while maintaining awareness of site rules, restricted areas, and/or operational schedules.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
