Senior Cost Accountant

DePuy Synthes, part of Johnson & Johnson, seeks a Senior Cost Accountant to provide financial leadership and standard costing expertise for the US Orthopedics manufacturing business in Raynham, Massachusetts. The role encompasses monthly financial close management, variance analysis, and business partner support to supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly financial close process and ensure subledger-to-general ledger accuracy and timeliness
- Perform detailed variance analysis on P&L and balance sheet items; prepare monthly management reports
- Execute and maintain standard costing process for Orthopedics franchise, including cost simulations and annual execution
- Provide financial leadership and business partner support to supply chain and category teams across facilities
- Analyze actual versus standard manufacturing variances and identify continuous improvement opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum three years of finance experience
- CPA, MBA, CMA, or equivalent financial certification preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and presentation skills
- Proficiency with SAP, Anaplan, or similar financial systems preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and collaborative work style
- Ability to work independently and interface effectively with multiple management levels
