Litigation Associate

Position Overview The Dallas office is seeking a mid-to-senior level associate to join its insurance coverage practice. This is an insurer-side role covering a mix of coverage analysis, client counseling, and litigation. Responsibilities Analyze and advise on complex insurance coverage issues across a range of policy types and claims Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and related correspondence Represent insurer clients in coverage litigation, including motion practice and discovery Counsel clients directly on coverage positions and claims-handling strategy Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's national offices on multi-jurisdictional matters Qualifications Several years of insurance coverage or insurance defense litigation experience Strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral advocacy skills Licensed to practice in Texas (or eligible for reciprocity/waiver) Ability to manage an active caseload independently while collaborating cross-office What the Firm Offers A true 1,950 billable hour requirement, not a target that quietly rises in practice Competitive, market compensation A collegial, Midwest-rooted firm culture with sustainable workloads Relocation assistance available for the right candidate #J-18808-Ljbffr
