Mainframe RACF Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe RACF Consultant with strong expertise in RACF on z/OS, Mainframe Security, and Certificate Management. The consultant will be responsible for RACF administration, technical support, incident resolution, security troubleshooting, and certificate management within enterprise mainframe environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and provide technical support for RACF on z/OS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve RACF security incidents and complex technical issues.
- Manage RACF certificates, including certificate configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Support RACF security across CICS, MQ, WebSphere, IP networks, and UNIX System Services.
- Work with ICSF, RRSF, and zSecure as required.
- Support IAM-related security solutions and enterprise access management.
- Analyze and troubleshoot mainframe security and network access issues.
- Develop or maintain automation/scripts using REXX, CARLa, Assembler, SAS, or SQL.
- Work with complex and unfamiliar technical environments to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Maintain security documentation and provide technical guidance to application and infrastructure teams.
- Use Microsoft Excel for analysis, reporting, and security-related activities.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of experience in Mainframe Security/RACF.
- Strong hands-on experience with RACF administration and technical support.
- Strong understanding of z/OS security and enterprise mainframe environments.
- Hands-on experience with RACF Certificate Management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with complex technical environments.
- Experience with one or more of REXX, CARLa, Assembler, SAS, or SQL.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
