Job Description
We are looking for our next long term team member! Seeking a Line Cook to join us at StackHouse Pub & Grill located in Chesterfield, Missouri. This is not a typical chain restaurant. Small staff, family atmosphere, accommodating management team. Our existing team is comprised of long term staff who are dedicated to their job. We are looking for good a team fit first. Be prepared to submit resume with minimum (2) professional references.
This position offers up to 40 hours a week.
Must have open availability
Job Type: Full-time, Part Time
Job Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility of food product quality
- BBQ/Meat Smoking duties
- Station setup, food preparation, cook, stock station, clean up
- Clearly communicate with team members
- Follow company procedure for safe food handling
- Follow cleaning schedule, assist with dishes when necessary, and other kitchen duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience on Grill, Sauté, preferred - willing to teach skills
- Work effectively within a team
- Ability to communicate
- Common sense approach to work
- Organization, cleanliness, time and task management a MUST
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Reliable transportation required
- Must work weekends
- Authorized to work in the United States
