General Manager - HVAC Operations & Business GrowthPro-Tech Air Conditioning & HeatingLocation: Santa Fe, NMSalary Range: $85,000 - $120,000 annually (based on experience)Company OverviewAs a family-owned and operated local HVAC company, Pro-Tech Air Conditioning & Heating takes pride in providing exceptional service while treating every customer's home as if it were our own. We are looking for an experienced leader to help guide our continued growth by combining strong business leadership with hands-on HVAC industry knowledge.Position SummaryPro-Tech Air Conditioning & Heating is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily business operations, improve company performance, and support continued growth. This role requires a strong understanding of both the HVAC industry and business operations.The ideal candidate will have experience managing teams, improving processes, driving profitability, and building strong customer relationships. HVAC field experience is preferred, but this role is primarily focused on leadership, operational efficiency, financial performance, and company growth.The General Manager will work closely with the owner and leadership team to oversee service, installation, customer experience, employee development, and overall business success.ScheduleMonday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Some evenings and weekends as neededPrimary ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of the HVAC company, including service and installation departmentsLead, coach, and develop field technicians and office staffImprove operational efficiency, scheduling, productivity, and profitabilityMonitor key business metrics including revenue, margins, labor efficiency, and customer satisfactionSupport dispatching processes and ensure technicians have the resources needed to succeedReview estimates, invoices, warranty claims, and customer concernsBuild and maintain strong customer relationshipsDevelop processes and procedures to improve company performanceAssist with recruiting, training, and employee retentionEnsure quality standards are maintained across all service and installation workPartner with ownership on strategic planning, growth initiatives, and company goalsRequired Qualifications5+ years of management or leadership experience, preferably within HVAC, construction, home services, or a related industryStrong business operations background with experience improving profitability and efficiencyUnderstanding of HVAC service and installation operationsExperience managing teams and developing employeesStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsExcellent customer service and communication abilitiesAbility to analyze business performance and make data-driven decisionsValid driver's licenseStrong computer skills and ability to learn company software systemsPreferred QualificationsHVAC field experience or technical knowledgeExperience managing HVAC service technicians and installersExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reportingFamiliarity with dispatching, scheduling, and service management softwareExperience in a growing small business environmentStrong leadership presence with the ability to motivate teamsBenefitsComprehensive Health Insurance - 50% of premium paid by company401k with company matchCompetitive salary ($85,000 - $120,000 based on experience)Company Tablet and Cell PhonePaid vacation and sick days6 paid HolidaysOpportunity for additional compensation based on company performanceJoin Pro-Tech Air Conditioning & Heating and help lead a respected local HVAC company into its next stage of growth while making a direct impact on customers, employees, and the community.
