Faithful Home Care Solutions is seeking an experienced, reliable, and compassionate caregiver to provide non-medical home care services for a client in the Philadelphia 19116 area.

Position Overview

The Direct Care Worker provides non-medical personal care and supportive services to clients in their homes, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, and hygiene maintenance

• Support activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, feeding assistance, ambulation, positioning, and transfers

• Utilize proper safety techniques and equipment (including Hoyer lift use as needed)

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Support client independence according to the care plan

• Maintain a safe and clean environment

• Follow standard precautions and infection control procedures

• Maintain strict client confidentiality

• Communicate effectively with family members and the care team

• Adhere to agency policies, professional standards, and state regulations

Shift Requirements

• Tuesday–Friday

• Start time: 9:30 AM

• End time: Approximately 4:00–5:00 PM

• This is a daytime position and may be a good fit for caregivers seeking a consistent weekday schedule.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of related caregiving experience preferred

• Experience providing personal care and assistance with ADLs

• Experience assisting with bathing and personal hygiene

• Experience with household tasks, grocery shopping, and errands

• Experience assisting clients with appointments

• Ability to follow a client-specific care plan and provide dependable support

Licensure & Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license

• Reliable, insured transportation 

• Satisfactory background check
