What You’ll Do:

· Support technicians with vehicle maintenance and minor repairs

· Perform safety inspections and basic services

· Keep accurate records of work completed

· Restock supplies and maintain a clean, organized work area

· Attend training sessions and stay current on manufacturer updates

· Handle tools and equipment responsibly

· Communicate with service staff about additional work or delays

Requirements:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three months automotive industry work experience
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Must be able to wear required uniform and required safety equipment (both provided by the company).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Post-secondary certificate
• Ability to repair machines or systems using the needed tools.
• Determine causes of operating errors and decide what to do about it.
• Control operations of equipment or systems.
• Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Consider relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work station as well as maintain the general shop area.
• Maintain a professional appearance.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee must also be able to quickly move hands, hand together with arm, or both hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects. The employee must be able to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.

The employee must be able to stand for a majority of scheduled shift, as well as frequently walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision as well as color vision. Employee will frequently lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift 50 pounds, and rarely lift 100 pounds with assistance.
