Job Description:

This position will be covering a territory located at:
Central Alabama territory covering Birmingham-Hoover, Montgomery, and Tuscaloosa, with responsibility for secondary markets throughout west-central Alabama.

Schedule: 8AM-5PM Monday through Friday.

This is a fully remote, customer-facing position . The selected candidate is expected to conduct in-person customer visits 3-4 days per week within the assigned territory.

This is a customer-facing role that requires regular travel throughout the assigned territory. Depending on the candidate's location and customer portfolio, occasional overnight travel may be required. However, the majority of customer visits and business activities can typically be completed through same-day travel within the territory. Candidates should be comfortable with frequent local travel and maintaining in-person customer engagement.

Job Description: The Business Development Job Family is responsible for promoting and selling products, services, and solutions to new customers across all levels. Key responsibilities include prospecting for new accounts, securing appointments, identifying customer needs, delivering compelling sales presentations, negotiating terms, overcoming objections, and closing deals. The position focuses on driving new business growth by expanding the client base within targeted market segments and consistently generating revenue aligned with organizational goals.

Career Track Description: Provides specific functional or subject matter expertise. Primary focus is individual expertise. Skills are typically acquired through university education and experience within a field. May lead others in the capacity of a “player coach”, typically leading smaller teams.

Provides guidance to team members with less experience or knowledge. Solves problems that are difficult and sometimes complex. Required Skills / Experience:

• Sales Experience (Hunting Focus): Proven ability to identify, pursue, and acquire new business opportunities through prospecting, relationship building, and consultative selling.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to review, interpret, and leverage customer data to develop pricing strategies, identify opportunities, and effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey messages to internal and external stakeholders, while working cross-functionally and partnering with team members to drive customer success and business growth.
