Supplier Quality Specialist

Responsibilities Plans, organizes, and conducts onsite audits of Boeing procured material, parts, and assemblies Applies knowledge of materials, and special processes to assess supplier capability and capacity to perform and complies with Boeing specifications, engineering documents or other contractual and regulatory requirements Create presentations and presents to senior management at suppliers and Boeing Practices root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective action to prevent recurrence of issues Provides mentoring and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives Conducts source inspections and delegates product acceptance responsibility to suppliers Assesses capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work Develop training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity Recognizes/Identifies risks and holds suppliers accountable for the mitigation of those risks Supports external conformities Exhibits an extremely high level of Emotional Intelligence Protects the Boeing brand in word and deed Requirements 3+ years of experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management 3+ years of experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) 1+ years of experience in performing product inspection Ability to travel up to 25% of the time 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred) 5+ years of experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills (preferred) 3+ years of experience with project leadership leading cross-functional teams (preferred) Experience working with structures and machining (preferred) Proficient in MS Office tool suite and project management software tools (preferred) Working knowledge of various quality tools and processes such as FMEA, control plans, SPC and MSA (preferred) Experience with the application of improvement methodologies such as Lean, Theory of Constraints and/or Six Sigma to achieve measurable results (preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
