This highly motivated individual will also provide financial leadership to the business related to strategy and analytics focused on driving profitable growth to Resource Industries. This position will work closely with other workstreams and functional areas across Resource Industries.This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives on partnering with senior stakeholders, challenging conventional thinking and translating complex data into meaningful business outcomes. Perth is the preferred location for this role, although exceptional candidates based in Melbourne or Brisbane will also be considered.About the role & responsibilitiesAs a key finance partner to the Asia Pacific Go-to-Market leadership team, you will provide commercial insights, performance analysis and strategic recommendations that drive profitable business growth.Some of your responsibilities will include:Act as a trusted business partner and adviser to the Asia Pacific Go-to-Market Vice President and leadership team.Support the delivery of the business's five-year strategic growth plan through insightful financial analysis and commercial recommendations.Drive informed decision-making through analysis of customer requirements, product profitability and market performance.Partner with the business to optimise pricing, evaluate deal profitability, and provide sales and margin insights that support profitable growthProvide governance and oversight of Go-to-Market operating expenses (SG&A), including recommendations to improve efficiency and value creation.Ensure financial reporting and analysis complies with US GAAP, local accounting standards and Caterpillar corporate policies. Collaborate across finance, sales, operations and regional leadership teams to drive enterprise-wide outcomesWhat we are looking forWe are looking to hire a strategic and commercially focused finance leader with strong analytical capability and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Furthermore, you will:Hold a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
