Accounting Specialist III
Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Accounting Specialist III role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality financial and operational support. With a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence across all accounting processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and financial discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Review invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for accuracy and compliance.
- Support payroll processing and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing or payment issues.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and records.
- Assist with audits by providing required documentation and support.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation efforts.
Qualifications include:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a mid- to large-sized organization.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with ERP or accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
