Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) position in Salida, Colorado, United States. This travel assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Start date: 07/13/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,498–$2,623 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (0630–1700) with equitable call rotation. Work setting: Critical Access Hospital. This opening is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgery in the OR, including pre-op assessments and placement of monitoring
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, equipment, and supplies; assist the surgical team by passing instruments and maintaining safety
- Monitor patient status and anesthesia during procedures; respond to intraoperative events as needed
- Position patients appropriately, manage instrumentation, and ensure correct patient positioning and padding
- Support postoperative recovery by facilitating transfers to PACU and ensuring accurate handoffs and documentation
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards; document care and maintain meticulous OR records

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado or a compact state
- Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts with an equitable call rotation
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced OR environment and collaborate with surgical staff
