Proficiency in the use of High Flow (infant, pediatric and adult), BPAP/CPAP, Ventilators, Bubble CPAP. Performs electrocardiograms on infants, pediatrics, and adults in areas throughout the hospital: Emergency department, L&D, nursery, ICU, MedSurg, and in PMG. Implement Cardiopulmonary modalities and protocols for infant, pediatric and adult patients. Alternate functions in the Pulmonary department (but not required) – Pulmonary Function Testing, Holter monitor placement, and cardiac stress testing. Performs departmental specific duties. Qualifications Education: Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy. Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License, Registered Respiratory Therapist. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
