Shipping and Receiving Clerk
As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, receiving orders into the computer system, and preparing items for shipment. You will also be involved in order pulling and operating equipment such as pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Receive and accurately enter orders into the computer system.
- Prepare items for shipment ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle order pulling and ensure items are ready for shipment.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts safely.
- Maintain inventory and manage warehouse operations.
- Coordinate with FedEx for shipping and receiving tasks.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in inventory management.
- Experience in picking, shipping, and receiving.
- Strong material handling skills.
- Proficient in data entry and computer operations.
- Ability to operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving roles.
- Familiarity with warehouse inventory processes.
Work Environment
The position is based in a non-climate-controlled shop. The role requires handling various warehouse equipment and working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
