Preference given to teacher at this location REPORTS TO Principal JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Student Success Coach is a professional educator who specializes in providing one-on-one or small group instruction to Second Grade students outside of regular school hours. This type of "coaching" is designed to supplement the education that students receive during the school day and can be especially beneficial for students who are struggling with mathematical concepts/skills or who need extra support to reach their full academic potential. The role of the Student Success Coach is to work with Second Grade students to identify their individual learning needs and goals, and to develop and implement a customized instruction plan to help them achieve those goals. This may involve reviewing and reinforcing classroom material, providing additional resources and materials, and working on problem solving strategies and critical thinking strategies. STUDENT SUCCESS COACH RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Provide individual and small group tutoring sessions to students in 3rd and 4th Grade Assist students with developing and refining mathematical concepts / skills Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with WVCCR Mathematics Standards Evaluate student progress and provide regular feedback to parents & guardians and classroom teachers Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other teachers to support student success Maintain a positive and organized learning environment that fosters student engagement and motivation SALARY Compensation will be at a rate of $45.00 per hour for 3 hours per week (2 days per week) which also includes planning and preparing for a MAXIMUM of 28 weeks [6 weeks / 9 weeks / 9 weeks / 4 weeks] FUNDING SOURCE Title I Postings current as of 8/26/2026 8:42:44 PM CST. #J-18808-Ljbffr
