Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Rotating Days and Nights (7:00 AM–7:00 PM / 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required | Every other holiday required, if needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
Provide emergency nursing care to adult and geriatric patients across all emergency diagnoses at a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5
Perform and manage IV therapy including blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, and IV vasopressors
Manage ventilator-dependent patients and assist with CPAP/BiPAP therapy
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage dysrhythmias as needed
Care for patients presenting with CVA/stroke, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury
Conduct triage, maintain isolation precautions, and utilize special equipment including Bair hugger and rapid infuser; floating within skillset may be required

Required Qualifications
Active New York single-state RN license required at time of submission (NY is not a Compact state; pending licenses not accepted)
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
NIHSS certification required — must be included at time of submission
Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience required
EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with adult and pediatric emergency care, including gunshot wounds and orthopedic trauma
Familiarity with pediatric spinal cord injury management
Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are accepted
