What You Will Contribute Conduct both standard and sophisticated clinical lab tests including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more according to established guidelines. Evaluate test outcomes for correctness, resolve discrepancies, and oversee preventive maintenance and calibration of lab equipment. Assist in collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis as required. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all laboratory activities, train new hires or interns, and help uphold rigorous quality standards. Ensure a clean and safe laboratory space while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards. Education Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in Medical or Clinical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certification Criteria Achieve ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment. Maintain and renew all relevant certification throughout your tenure. Required Skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate fruitful collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals. Able to exercise independent judgment and problem‑solve in high‑pressure or fast‑paced environments. Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail, particularly regarding quality assurance and documentation.
