Job Description

We are seeking a motivated life insurance agent with a business-minded spirit to identify and convert sales leads for insurance policies while overseeing a robust portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will have served in a related insurance industry role in which he or she cultivated a pool of prospective clients through referrals, networking, cold calls, marketing initiatives, and other proactive sales strategies. Compensation:

$121,000 - $143,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

Spend time listening to new and potential clients, assess their priorities and finances, and determine suitable insurance plan options that successfully meet their individual insurance needs
Maintain and grow existing portfolios by developing and implementing effective and attentive sales strategies that cultivate long-term customer loyalty
Keep bookkeeping systems, sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools current to accurately report progress to monthly and quarterly sales quotas to stakeholders
Remain updated on insurance industry changes and protocols to fulfill all policy requirements and monitor insurance claims from start to finish
Develop and deliver risk management strategies for each customer based on their risk profile

Qualifications:

High school diploma mandatory; four-year undergraduate degree strongly preferred
Experience with accounting and or sales lead software is a plus
Superb analytical, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills are needed to succeed in this role
Insurance license required
Demonstrated comprehension of the insurance industry, insurance products, risk management profiles, and associated state and federal regulations
