Job Overview Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity Job Opportunity - Emergency Medicine Physician - Missouri Start Date: As soon as possible, ideally September 2026 Location: Missouri Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts covering both AM (7a-7p) and PM (7p-7a) coverage; single physician coverage with Advanced Practice Provider support; patient volume approximately 1.6 patients per hour Highlights: Freestanding Emergency Department with 10 treatment rooms plus 1 triage space Predominantly low-acuity patient population with occasional higher-acuity walk-ins Low admission rate of approximately 5% or less Nurse and APP triage support for lower acuity cases Orientation includes one day of facility orientation followed by 1-2 shadow days Affiliated with Level 2 Trauma Center for higher-level care coordination Requirements: Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required Active and unrestricted medical license Case logs required for credentialing review Primary Care Physicians with EM experience will not be considered Why It's a Great Opportunity: This is an excellent opportunity for an Emergency Medicine physician seeking a manageable patient volume in a freestanding emergency setting with strong Advanced Practice Provider support.
