Job Opportunity – Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider – Missouri

Start Date: September 2026 (ASAP)

Location: Missouri

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Shift-based coverage with morning and mid-shift options (9a-9p and 3p-1a). No call required.

Highlights:

• Freestanding Emergency Department with 10 beds plus 1 trauma bay serving approximately 80 patients per day
• Low-acuity patient population (primarily level 4 and 5 cases) with 3.5% admission rate
• Collaborative environment with 24-hour physician coverage and dedicated nursing and imaging support staff
• Perform essential emergency procedures including laceration repair, splinting, and incision and drainage
• Shift-based schedule with no rounding or call responsibilities
• Comprehensive orientation including EMR training and shadow shifts

Requirements:

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• Emergency Department experience required; new graduates will not be considered
• Proficiency in basic emergency procedures: laceration repair, splinting, incision and drainage
• Case logs required for credentialing
• Emergency privileges may be available on a case-by-case basis
