Requirements Date: 7-16-2026 Facility Name: ER of Independence FSER for Centerpoint Specialty: EM Position specific questions · Reason for the need? Open recruiting positions o 7 open physician recruiting positions across Centerpoint Main and EROI. · Is there a specific start date needed? As needed o As soon as possible but definitely starting in September · Duration of need? Ongoing · What are expectations for orientation? ie shadow day? EMR training? one day orient / 1 to 2 days shadow Candidate Parameters · Any specific fellowships/ certifications/ procedures/ competencies we are looking for? EM Boarded. Same requirements as Centerpoint Main. · With a Primary Care Physician with EM Experience be considered? o NO · Experience level? Will you accept new grads? EM Boarded Credentialing questions: · Will emergency privileges be an option? Can review on a case-by-case basis · Are case logs needed? If so what are the requirements? yes Hospital/unit questions · Number of ER Bays? o 10 rooms and 1 triage space · Number of Patients/Hour? o Expectation is approx.. 1.6/hr for the whole ED · What’s the patient mix? o Mostly low acuity. Occasional walk in higher acuity. · Trauma center designation? o The FSER is not a Trauma Center however the main facility is Level 2. · Is there nurse/APP Triage for lower acuity? o Yes Specialty Specific Questions: EM · Shift lengths? 8 10 12 o 12 hour shifts · AM and PM Shift Coverage Needed? o Yes both. · Staffing Model: How many other EM Providers are on at the same time? o For physicians the shifts are 7a-7p and 7p-7a single doc coverage with APP support. · What does support staff include? Normal ER support staff · ED Admission Rate? o Approximately 5 or less. Extra: What additional details are beneficial to know to assist in recruiting?
