Rhino Medical is seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians for an ongoing locum tenens assignment supporting a Level II trauma center in Independence, MO. This role focuses on managing a diverse and high-volume ER caseload, including trauma (mainly blunt), neuro IR procedures, pediatric cases, and plastics/hand transfers, at a busy regional facility.

• Shift times: 6:00–16:00, 9:00–19:00, 12:00–22:00, 15:00–01:00, 19:00–05:00, 21:00–07:00
• Shifts at main hospital may be less than 12 hours; FSER shifts require 12 hours
• Flexibility required for days, nights, weekends
• Support staff includes neuro IR, Peds, plastics/hand transfer, psychiatric, and neurology robots
• ER annual admissions approximately 24% increase

Requirements

• Active Missouri medical license
• DEA Registration
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Certifications: ATLS (per career), ACLS, PALS
• Experience in trauma, neuro IR, Peds, and plastics/hand transfer
• Flexibility for shift times and multiple work locations
