JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Neonatology • Job Type: Permanent • Location: Kansas City, MO • Service Setting: Inpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Work Schedule: TBD • Call Type: Shared Call PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Premature & critically ill newborns • Patient Volume: 30 daily • Admissions: 450 (annual; NICU)• Rounding included: Yes • Phone Consults: As Needed • Case Mix: High-acuity NICU & advanced neonatal therapies FACILITY INFORMATION • No of Beds: 49-bed Level III-B NICU
- 15-bed Level III-A NICU, growing Level II NICU, and Well-Baby Units
