What You’ll Do

• Provide expert in-house neonatal care at a 49-bed Level-IIIB NICU
• Manage critically ill neonates including extremely low gestational age newborns (ELGANs) as young as 22 weeks
• Utilize advanced therapies such as inhaled nitric oxide, high-frequency ventilation, and therapeutic hypothermia
• Support the care of over 450 annual NICU admissions with an average daily census of 30
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatal nurse practitioners and support staff
• Oversee or support care in associated Level-IIIA and Level-II units, as well as well-baby and regional delivery services
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and potential academic or research activities
• Engage in telehealth support for out-of-house coverage

What You Need

Required:

• Missouri medical license or eligibility
• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Neonatology
• Strong clinical skills in neonatal intensive care
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred:

• Prior NICU experience or training in advanced neonatal therapies
