• Shift: In-house, primarily day shifts (schedule flexible)
• Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours/week
• Licenses/Certifications: BC/BE in Neonatology, Missouri medical license preferred
• Experience: Previous Neonatology experience preferred but not required

What You’ll Do

• Provide expert in-house neonatal care in a Level-IIIB NICU with 49 beds
• Manage critically ill neonates using advanced therapies such as inhaled nitric oxide, HFOV, HFJV, and therapeutic hypothermia
• Care for extremely low gestational age infants, including those as young as 22 weeks
• Support over 450 NICU admissions annually with an average daily census of 30
• Collaborate with a team of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners to deliver high-quality care
• Oversee or support care in additional levels of neonatal services, including Level-IIIA NICU and well-baby units
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regional neonatal care coordination
• Engage in professional development and potential academic pursuits

What You Need

Required:

• Board Certified/Eligible in Neonatology
• Medical license in Missouri (or eligible)
• Strong clinical skills in neonatal intensive care
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care

Preferred:

• Previous NICU experience
• Experience managing advanced neonatal therapies
