We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support our accounting team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role will focus on inventory-related accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close support, and assisting with internal audit activities. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support our accounting team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role will focus on inventory-related accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close support, and assisting with internal audit activities. Key Responsibilities Inventory & Manufacturing Accounting Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate variances Reconcile prepaid inventory and accrued receipts accounts Support cost-related analysis and ensure proper inventory valuation Collaborate with operations and plant personnel to resolve discrepancies Balance Sheet Reconciliations Prepare and maintain monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts Research and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner Maintain clear documentation supporting account balances Month-End Close Assist with month-end close procedures, including journal entries Prepare supporting schedules and analyses Ensure deadlines are met in accordance with the close calendar Internal Audit Support Participate in internal audit activities for manufacturing facilities Assist with walkthroughs, documentation, and control testing Identify process improvement opportunities General Accounting Duties Support accounts payable and receivable as needed Assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules Maintain accurate and organized accounting records Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. 2–4 years of accounting experience (multi-site or manufacturing environment preferred). Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas) Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams. Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.
