Executive Director, Account Management
Scorpion Therapeutics
Role Lead and manage the US Ophthalmology Account Management Team to support late-stage pipeline assets, establish strategic customer engagement models, and influence market positioning in ophthalmology. Responsibilities Recruiting and mentoring account management staff, shaping franchise strategy, overseeing high-level customer and executive relationships—particularly within retina practices and large healthcare networks—and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure seamless market execution. Requirements Bachelor's degree with 12+ years in pharma/biotech, including 7+ years managing teams and 5+ years in strategic account management within complex healthcare settings. Deep understanding of healthcare economics, reimbursement, and specialty drug distribution is essential. Preferred Experience with GPOs, trade partners, product launches in specialty pharma, and cross-functional roles spanning marketing, access, or operations. Skills Strategic planning, leadership, customer relationship management, negotiation, and market insights. High-value Focus on ophthalmology, late-stage pipeline assets, enterprise customer engagement, and cross-functional leadership.
