Job Details Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Neuro ICU focus Employment Type: Travel RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Schedule: Nights, every other weekend Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,860 - $1,960 Orientation: Weekly orientation available on Mondays Location: Somerset, KY 42503 Environment: Busy acute care hospital serving a broad regional community Job Requirements Current RN license and eligibility to practice in the state of Kentucky 1-2 years of recent acute care nursing experience required ICU experience strongly preferred, especially in neuro critical care Current BLS certification required Current NIHSS certification required Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend Willingness to float within a 25-mile radius as needed Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU Monitor patient status, interpret changes, and respond quickly to evolving clinical needs Administer treatments, medications, and interventions in accordance with established protocols Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) Support a high-acuity neuro ICU setting while maintaining strong attention to detail Adapt to night shift workflows, weekend rotations, and float assignments when needed Why Work This Travel Nurse Assignment?
