As an IT Process Owner within PNC’s Technology organization, the role may be based in Pittsburgh PA, Strongsville OH, Birmingham AL, Phoenix AZ, Denver CO or Dallas TX. Key Responsibilities Define and document the process, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and interactions with other systems. Maintain effective policy requirements that address the Technology Risk Program discipline and ensure the program is aligned to regulatory expectations. Identify the risks and controls within the processes and ensure control owners and those performing control activities understand the control expectations. Identify the risk and performance metrics required to measure and monitor KRIs and KPIs (e.g., cycle time, quality, cost). Establish a governance structure to effectively govern the process to ensure it remains effective. Escalate to appropriate governing bodies when policy, control and/or metrics are trending negatively and outside of risk appetite. Identify bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities to boost efficiency. Ensure the process meets regulatory, legal, and internal standards. Approve or reject deviations from established processes. Required Skills & Qualifications Understand how a process affects the wider organization. Drive success through process reimagination, control rationalization, and automation plans. Proactively manage and mitigate risk with relevant processes by adhering to the risk framework. Analyze and interpret data (such as KRIs and KPIs) for decision‑making. Communicate effectively with product owners and influence stakeholders across different departments without direct authority. Understand the business problem, identify complex issues, and prepare and execute a planned approach for initiatives. Define and obtain data collection, research and reporting activities for assigned line‑of‑business initiatives. Conduct research, analyze, and recommend solutions for key initiatives. Work with key decision makers to ensure cross‑business and cross‑functional alignment and synergy. Serve as a subject‑matter resource and advocate that understands and implements best practices and learning plans to meet business objectives. Customer Focused Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information to create customized customer solutions. Managing Risk Assess and effectively manage all risks associated with business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Qualifications Work Experience: Roles at this level typically require a university/college degree with 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered. Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
