Recreation Aide - Tennis Center (Part-time, Temporary, Non-benefited)

Job Announcement The City of Chandler Community Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Recreation Aide at the Chandler Tennis Center (part‑time, temporary, non‑benefited). This position serves at the discretion of the department director. Scheduled hours may range from 0 to 19 hours per week. Workdays may vary, and employees may be scheduled on any day of the week. Typical shifts are from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Sunday. Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part‑time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler. Why work for Chandler? Who we are looking for Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We’re seeking someone with a general knowledge of tennis and strong administrative skills, including experience with registration and reservation software, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, assisting customers and addressing facility needs, and fostering a culture of camaraderie, courtesy, and respect. The ideal candidate is energetic, a team player, capable of multitasking, and able to exercise sound independent judgment. Minimum qualifications Some High School; no experience required A First Aid/CPR certification required within 90 days of employment Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work Desired qualifications 3 years of college coursework in Recreation, Physical Education, or a related field The City of Chandler will conduct a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test as a condition of employment.
