BÜNDA is a high-energy boutique group fitness studio. Our signature workout combines 1⁄2 StairMaster + 1⁄2 strength training, using progressive overload and steady-state cardio to deliver challenging, results-driven classes. 

The Role

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operational performance, membership growth and retention, team development, and consistent execution across BÜNDA Westlake Village and BÜNDA Camarillo. This is a hands-on leadership role. The Regional Operations Manager oversees day-to-day studio operations, supports and develops studio teams, maintains exceptional member experience, actively contributes to sales, and ensures both locations meet BÜNDA standards and business goals. 

LEADERSHIP & TEAM DEVELOPMENT 

• Lead, coach, and develop Assistant Sales Managers, Sales Associates, and studio teams across both locations. 
• Partner with the Head Trainer to optimize trainer scheduling based on client demand, class utilization, and business needs across both studios.  
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance, member experience, sales execution, and operational standards. 
• Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance check-ins, and coaching. 
• Identify performance gaps and implement coaching or action plans as needed. 
• Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and development of new team members. 
• Foster a positive, accountable, high-performing studio culture. 
• Lead or oversee monthly team meetings and ensure priorities, promotions, operational updates, and goals are clearly communicated. 

SALES, MEMBERSHIP GROWTH & RETENTION 

• Help drive membership growth, revenue, conversion, and retention across both studios. 
• Actively participate in sales when needed, including engaging prospective members, discussing membership options, supporting conversions, and helping close business. 
• Partner with Assistant Sales Managers to review leads, pipelines, conversion, membership sales, and follow-up activities. 
• Hold Assistant Sales Managers accountable for daily lead management, outreach, and achievement of sales goals. 
• Review sales and studio KPIs and identify opportunities to improve performance. 
• Support sales coaching, objection handling, and membership/package conversations. 
• Oversee the full member journey from first inquiry through conversion, onboarding, and ongoing membership. 
• Handle or escalate higher-level retention conversations, cancellations, freezes, billing concerns, and member issues. 

STUDIO OPERATIONS & MEMBER EXPERIENCE 

• Oversee daily operations across both locations and ensure consistency in BÜNDA standards, policies, cleanliness, staffing, and member experience. 
• Maintain a visible leadership presence in both studios, particularly during high-traffic class transitions. 
• Regularly check in with studio teams regarding member issues, staffing needs, facility concerns, and operational priorities. 
• Support member questions, booking issues, account concerns, InBody assessments, and membership needs as necessary. 
• Ensure studios are properly opened, closed, stocked, maintained, and prepared for each shift. 
• Delegate appropriate day-to-day responsibilities while maintaining accountability for execution. 
• Proactively identify and resolve operational or staffing issues. 

REPORTING & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT 

• Monitor key studio KPIs including membership growth, revenue, lead volume and conversion, first-time visits, membership/package sales, referrals, retention and cancellations, member satisfaction, and staff performance. 
• Ensure daily and weekly sales and KPI tracking is completed accurately by the appropriate team members. 
• Use Mariana Tek, Mariana Tek Insights, XPLOR Growth, and other studio systems to evaluate performance and identify opportunities. 
• Communicate key performance trends, concerns, and opportunities to ownership. 

STAFF SCHEDULING & COVERAGE 

• Responsible for staffing and scheduling Sales Associates across both studios. 
• Review trainer scheduling with Head Trainer to ensure alignment.  
• Ensure proper opening, closing, and class coverage. 
• Partner with the appropriate team leads responsible for creating Sales Associate and trainer schedules. 
• Ensure coverage gaps, substitutions, and staffing issues are resolved quickly. 
• Monitor staffing levels based on studio traffic and business needs. 

INVENTORY, FACILITIES & MAINTENANCE 

• Oversee retail, studio supplies, towels, cleaning supplies, and equipment inventory. 
• Ensure accurate inventory counts, appropriate purchases, and timely restocking. 
• Monitor product and bundle inventory and ensure adequate studio supplies. 
• Identify equipment, StairMaster, station, facility, or maintenance issues and ensure appropriate vendors are contacted. 
• Follow maintenance issues through completion and escalate issues to ownership as needed. 
• Assist ownership with operational expense management and budgeting. 

MARKETING, EVENTS & COMMUNITY 

• Support studio promotions, referral initiatives, events, and community partnerships that drive membership and retention. 
• Identify potential community and brand partners and coordinate collaborations with ownership approval. 
• Support logistics and in-studio execution of pop-ups, private events, and community activations. 
• Ensure team members understand current promotions, events, and marketing initiatives. 
• Maintain a visible leadership presence at key studio and community events. 
• Partner with ownership on marketing needs rather than serving as the primary social media creator. 

SYSTEMS & ADMINISTRATION 

• Maintain working knowledge of studio systems including Mariana Tek, Mariana Tek Insights, XPLOR Growth, Homebase, Sales Trackers, and other operational platforms. 
• Monitor studio and management email and ensure time-sensitive member, billing, and operational matters are addressed. 
• Ensure appropriate team members have system access and understand required workflows. 
• Maintain organized communication and documentation across both locations. 

MEETINGS & COMMUNICATION  

• Attend bi-monthly BÜNDA corporate Studio Manager meetings as the representative for both locations, fostering a positive relationship with corporate and communicating key information back to ownership and studio leadership. 
• Attend bi-monthly meetings with the digital advertising agency to review campaign performance, lead generation, and opportunities to improve membership acquisition. 
• Attend weekly ownership meetings to review sales performance, studio operations, staffing, member experience, priorities, and any issues requiring attention. 
• Lead a monthly sales training meeting for both studio teams focused on sales strategy, lead follow-up, conversion, objection handling, best practices, and areas for improvement. 
• Ensure clear and consistent communication between ownership, studio leadership, corporate partners, and outside vendors.

TRAINING 

• If the Regional Manager holds a current personal training certification or plans to obtain one, we encourage Regional Manager to complete Bünda Trainer Training to develop a strong understanding of the Bünda training methodology and class standards. 
• Regional Manager may occasionally teach and be compensated for up to 2 classes a week or provide class coverage when needed. 
• Obtaining the Bünda training will allow for better supporting, coaching, and holding trainers accountable to delivering the Bünda experience at the highest level. 
• This knowledge effectively allows the Regional Manager to partner with the Head Trainer in maintaining a high-quality member experience. 

REQUIREMENTS 

• Boutique fitness industry experience required. 
• Experience with Mariana Tek and XPLR Growth is preferred but not a requirement.  
• Proven sales experience required, including membership or service sales, lead conversion, and relationship-based selling. 
• 3+ years of management or leadership experience, preferably in boutique fitness, wellness, hospitality, or other high-touch consumer business. 
• Demonstrated ability to drive membership growth, retention, and revenue. 
• Experience leading, coaching, and holding teams accountable for sales, service, and operational goals. 
• Strong understanding of member experience, retention, and community building. 
• Comfortable actively selling and engaging with prospective members when needed. 
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple locations, teams, schedules, and priorities simultaneously. 
• Comfortable reviewing KPIs and using performance data to identify gaps and drive improvement. 
• Strong communication, judgment, problem-solving, and leadership skills. 
• Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions. 
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly visible, member-facing environment. 
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel regularly between Westlake Village and Camarillo. 
• Availability for a full-time schedule with occasional evenings and weekends based on studio needs.
