Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out surgical procedures in a safe and efficient manner.
• Monitor the patients’ vital signs and alert the surgical team of any changes.
• Coordinate with surgical techs and other team members to ensure a sterile and organized environment.
• Participate in pre- and post-operative care, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Provide support in emergency situations, adhering to established protocols.
• Work flexible rotating shifts and take call as required by the department.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active license to practice in California.
• Minimum of seven years of OR experience, with at least two years in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred.
• Robotics and Da Vinci surgical experience essential.
• Ability to maintain professional demeanor and work under pressure.
