GI Pathologist

Summary Certified by the American Board of Pathology for anatomic or clinical pathology, this position involves the study of disease and disease process through macroscopic, microscopic, immunologic, and molecular examination of organs and tissue. The role supports patient care, research, and education within the clinical and research enterprise of Moffitt Cancer Center. Responsibilities The candidate will participate in routine sign‑out activities of the GI Pathology Service. In addition to a division‑specific focus, the position includes responsibility in general frozen‑section pathology and may involve additional subspecialty duties depending on experience. The role offers opportunities for translational research and direct expert consult compensation. Requirements Board certified in Anatomic Pathology or eligible for board certification. Experience in an academic multi‑disciplinary university clinical setting preferred. Established track record of academic pursuit desirable. Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Florida required. Completed a GI Pathology fellowship or have at least three years of subspecialty experience.
