Local Delivery Driver (Class A w/Hazmat) Location: Corpus Christi, TX - Agnes - Retail Shop Pay: $25 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift Bonus: Quarterly Bonus Potential Contact: Amy O'Brien /View email address on click.appcast.io / View phone number on click.appcast.io Essential Duties and Responsibilities Cylinder Handling : Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations. Record Keeping : Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt. Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling. Safety and Compliance : Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including those from DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA. Warehouse Support : Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed. Required Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Valid Medical Examiner's Card. Hazmat Endorsement & Airbrake certification. At least 1 year of prior Class B professional driving experience within the last 5 years and a clean driving record (no more than 2 convictions or 2 at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years, or a combination of 1 conviction and 1 at‑fault accident). College diploma from an accredited driving school within the last 12 months and a minimum of 1 year of prior driving experience within the last 5 years (alternative to experience). Must be at least 21 years or older. Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets. Ability to routinely lift 25‑75 lbs. and occasionally lift 76–125 lbs. with the aid of material handling equipment. Forklift operator certification. Ability to work occasional overtime if necessary.
