A contract Physical Therapist is needed to provide exceptional services for an Extended School Year (ESY) program. Serve children and young adults across a welcoming school community and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help each student reach their fullest potential.


This position features daytime hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm, with an orientation on Monday, June 29th. The contract runs from June 29th through August 6th-perfect for professionals seeking summer engagement in a school-based environment near Clarks Summit, PA.


Desired Qualifications:

• Valid and current Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania
• Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Expertise in organizing and implementing individualized therapy plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs and schedules

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative PT services in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct evaluations and maintain detailed progress records
• Work closely with educators, families, and other related service providers
• Encourage student participation and maximize independence through targeted interventions
• Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere
