Specimen Processor - PRN- 2nd Shift

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor for a per diem, second-shift position in Lakewood, Colorado. The role involves preparing biological specimens, verifying patient information, entering data, and ensuring quality standards in a laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and introduce biological specimens into laboratory workflow
- Verify patient demographics match test requisition forms
- Enter patient information into computer systems for tracking
- Unpack, route, and pack specimens to appropriate staging areas or facilities
- Resolve and document problem specimens; operate automated instrumentation as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficient computer and typing skills
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Comfortable handling human biological specimens
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in protective equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Compensation: $18.88-$22.22 per hour plus second shift differential
